A digital camera is versatile
When people consider their health they think of all the obvious things such as their heart and lungs and take appropriate steps to lessen the risk of these areas of the body becoming weak and damaged. This can be done easily through quitting smoking, exercising and drinking less. Not as many people think about their feet but when someone gets an ingrown toenail or corn's things can get very painful. These ailments don't always require a trip to the hospital and there are many podiatrists around that can diagnose foot disorders and then treat them accordingly. Some nervous patients may try to get a diagnosis online and could use a digital camera to take a picture of an affliction.
This could then be posted online with a query as to the problem. In these situations it's probably better to actually go and see a professional but it just goes to show how much modern technology has improved over the last few years. This type of photographic equipment has set a new standard and instead of visiting photo developers people can upload and print any picture that they take, in the comfort of their own home. This has led to a rise in amateur photography and even most phones now have the capability to take a snapshot with a fairly high resolution. Face detection is now a common feature on most equipment and other useful features may allow someone to take a picture in any light while eliminating glare and redeye.
